2016 is soon coming to an end, and it's been a very eventful one full of happiness and joy, as well as sorrow and shock for many people everywhere around the globe. We at the GSC would like to take a moment to recap some of the high points and low points of 2016.
The recent terror attacks in Berlin and all other incidents around the globe this year have left the world in shock, knowing that something needs to be done to restore peace and order. Additionally, the vote by the British to finally leave the EU has dealt a heavy blow to the world economy, and business leaders are still waiting to see the full extent of their decision. Moreover, America has finally elected a new President, Donald Trump, and he is coming into office with a host of ideas, one of the first being to pull America out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
With all that has happened this last year, the GSC wants to remind our members and readers that innovative bilateral partnerships are just as important, if not more important, than ever. They are the fundament of success, progress and harmony in our society and that is why we at the GSC have made it our mission to "connect the world of innovation". To accomplish our goals, we have many exciting projects in the pipeline, so we hope you keep your eyes on our social media, blog posts, and emails in the next coming months, because the year 2017 is going to be one of our best at the Club.
We wish you all the best, and let's hope that spark of innovation and solidarity among nations will bring peace. Be sure to connect with us, and as always, happy browsing!
