Over the course of the next several weeks, we would like to introduce you to our Advisory Board members for our upcoming Turkish-German Innovation Summit and give you a chance to learn more about them and their work. Today we would like to introduce the Turkish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TD-IHK), an organization that plays an integral role in promoting increased economic ties between these two countries.
About the Turkish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce
Based in Berlin, the Turkish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (TD-IHK) fosters investment opportunities in Turkey and in Germany, in order to advance the bilateral economic ties. The Chamber was founded in 2004 on the basis of a protocol signed by the German Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges in Turkey (TOBB).
By supporting the Turkish-German Innovation Summit, the TD-IHK tries to contribute to and support foreign trade, innovation and cooperation. The advancement of innovative small and medium-sized companies from different sectors in Turkey and Germany is one of the primary goals of the TD-IHK. Thus, the Turkish-German Innovation Summit constitutes another great platform and network to get together with like-minded stakeholders.
